How my journey began
My name is Paula and I was born and raised in Valencia, Spain. In 2013 I made London my home and discovered my love for yoga. I used to walk pass a studio on my way to work and I felt curious about how it would be like to try a class. I was never a dancer or sportive person, so I was full of self-doubts: “would be good enough for it or if I would make I fool of myself?”.
Little did I know back then that it was never about performing poses but about feeling the energy within. My intuition kept roaring loud so, fortunately I decided to listen and follow it. This ancient philosophy has positively transformed my life and I am passionate about honouring and sharing it with the hope that has a similar effect on others.
I have a true love for traditional yoga and genuinely believe this practice is for everyone, regardless of your age, gender, size, shape, background or fitness level.
I teach compassionate and thoughtful yoga in a non-competitive manner, focusing equally on the physical, mental and spiritual benefits. I love to share Hatha, Ashtanga and Yin, always blending movement and breathing.
I offer sequences suitable for all levels, breathing and meditative techniques that I have studied over the years of self-practice.
My classes are carefully prepared with a deep connection to alignment.
My ultimate goal is to create a safe and nurturing space for us to breathe, explore and grow together. You can expect a strong Spanish accent, lots of smiles and a warm energy.
My Qualifications
I started practising yoga at Blackheath Yoga in London, since then my practice as spanned 7 years learning in many different studios from wonderful teachers from all over the world.
My training includes 200H RYT, specialised in Hatha and Ashtanga. Also a 85H RPYT certification in Prenatal Yoga and I am currently completing a 50H TT Alignment and Adjustments, so you’ll be in attentive and caring hands.
